How well can you tell the difference between credible and non-credible sites? Take this pre-test to find out!
Credible website providers are those usually hosted by government, scientific, or college associations, or are journals by authors respected and well-known in their specific field. In general, credible website URLs usually end in .edu, .gov, .org, but can also in the form of .com.

“Lili’uokalani Proclaimed Queen of Hawaii”

Non-credible websites are often found in the form of blogs, facebook posts, or other self-authored sites. This may include research articles that do not include citations, or refer to out-of-date theories or material over 15 years ago. These websites often end in .com or .net.
